Well well well. We just got back from the September GSKA Karate Tournament. We had a BLAST! We had six students participate and we took home a grand total of 7 trophies if I remember correctly. We also had something else.....the biggest surprise of the day was the award that our school received for being the most supportive school. Sure they spelled our school name "Ko Sutemi Do" on the plaque, but the fact remains that our entire school won the award. Thanks to everyone from our group that attended any GSKA tournament this past year. You helped us attain this award.

We had people compete as follows:
Jessica Ladd (Brown Belt): Kata (Pinan Yon-Dan)
Tommy Ladd (Green Belt): Sparring, Kata (Pinan San-Dan)
Collin Kulp (Yellow Belt): Sparring, Kata (Pinan Sho-Dan)
Matthew Carper (Brown Belt): Sparring, Kata (Empi) (FIRST TOURNAMENT!)
Tyler (Blue Belt): Kata (Pinan San-Don)
Cameron Peoples (2nd Kyu Brown Belt): Sparring, Kata (Empi)

I would like to congratulate each and every one of you guys again on a great job. I still keep playing Jessicas' Proformance of Pinan Yon-Dan. Yes, it was that good. She put the PRO in Proformance! Collin, you did Pinan Sho-Dan very well, as well. You all did great, those are just the two that are at the front of my mind. So don't feel bad.

Through out the day Nathaniel Bland and Sensei Peoples(Sr.) were taking photos and video. Right now the fruits of my afternoon labor are posted. I have out together a review video re-capping the highlights of the day. You can view it By clicking HERE. If you wish to download a copy, please use the "Contact WebMaster" button in the top menu and the side bar to drop me a note and I'll send you the link. Please state weather you want the HIGH QUALITY(As in the original master copy at 508Mb) or the mid-level copy at 17Mb.
